Hello Scholars!

 Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year!!

My name is Sarenia Johnson. I am a married mother of three with 4 fur babies (2 cats and 2 dogs). I love the outdoors and spending time with family. I have the honor of serving as a High School Science Teacher here at ARC. I have a Bachelors in Science in Middle Level Education from Claflin University with content emphasis in Mathematics, and Science. I have also completed my Masters in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Walden University, has an Endorsement in Reading, and is now an Educational Specialist after completing the Advanced Educational Studies program at Augusta University. I am certified to teach grades 4-8 Mathematics and 4-12 Science. I am entering my 13th year of teaching!  In the classroom, I plan to motivate students to become lifelong learners in the field of Science as we navigate through  AP Chemistry, and Biology I.  Appropriate activities will be conducted to demonstrate the subjects. Homework, and projects will be assigned throughout the year to develop what we have learned.

I expect students to:

• Be PREPARED for each synchronous session with required materials on time every time.
• Stay focused and stick to the topics. 
• Submit all assignments on time. 
• Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations outlined in the RCSS student handbook.
• Remember you leave a digital footprint; be careful what you put out there.
