Here's What We're Learning-3

Learning Target: I can identify affixes and use them correctly.  I can analysis character traits.  I can write a constructed response using my leveled text.  

Wednesday: 

  • Review the affixes previously learned.
  • Students will continue reading Frindle and practice putting events in sequential order. 
  • The teacher will model how to write a construct response using our grade level text.  

Thursday: 

  • Review the affixes previously learned.
  • Students will continue reading Frindle in mixed ability groups and complete a character analysis handout.
  • Students will continue writing their constructed response.   

Friday: 

  • Students will complete a graded chapter check-up and individually read chp. 11.  
  • Students will complete the final version of their constructed response.
