This Week - Opinion Writing Continues

Learning Target: I can support my opinion in writing using textual evidence. I can identify and use homophones correctly. I can identify affixes and use them correctly. 

Monday: 

  • Students will work on an opinion piece working with a partner. 
  • Students will discuss, identify and use homophones.   

Tuesday:

  • Students will continue to draft their opinion piece. 
  • Students will discuss, identify, and use homophones.

Wednesday: 

  • Students will read a text of their choice and begin brainstorming ideas for their opinion piece. 
  • Students will discuss, identify, and use homophones. 

Thursday: 

  • Students will continue drafting their opinion piece.  
  • Students will discuss, identify, and use homophones. 

Friday: 

  • Students will publish their essays.  
  • Students will discuss, identify and use homophones.
