Fourth Grade Curriculum Resources
Welcome to the Fourth Grade Curriculum Resources!
Welcome to the Fourth Grade Resources page! We have developed this page to help you find the Curriculum Maps to show what is being taught in the Richmond County School System Fourth Grade classes. The K-5 Standards define what students should understand and be able to do by the end of each grade. Fundamentally, students in grades K through 5 are focused on developing comprehension strategies that will enable them to manipulate grade-level texts of appropriate complexity, and communicate effectively both in writing and in speaking.

Curriculum Maps
A Curriculum Map consists of unit plans (listed towards the top of the table in the gray band) that align with Georgia Standards. The unit plans define the scope and sequence of the content being covered. You will see the Georgia Standards listed as a group of letters and numbers that represent each of the standards for that subject area.
