Science Safety
Science safety is non-negotiable. The responsibility of managing safety in the science classroom is in the hands of the teachers and students. It is up to the teacher to create a safe environment based on clear procedures and rules. Teachers can prevent risky behaviors from becoming an issue in the classroom by establishing and enforcing clear procedures and rules. Click here to view the Science Safety Manual. Curriculum Maps
A Curriculum Map consists of unit plans (listed towards the top of the table in the gray band) that align with Georgia Standards. The unit plans define the scope and sequence of the content being covered. You will see the Georgia Standards listed as a group of letters and numbers that represent each of the standards for that subject area.
