  • School Nutrition Reminders
    • The SNP department will host its annual Thanksgiving Meal in all schools on November 21st.  For those schools wishing to invite parents to eat we recommend:
      1. Let your manager know if you plan on inviting parents/guardians so they can adjust orders and prepare accordingly.
      2. Presell tickets and/or sell tickets at the door. This will speed up the process of getting everyone through the line if our cashiers do not have to make change.
      3. Sell the tickets for $5.00 per meal.  The school can keep the additional $0.75 as a fundraiser, and it alleviates having to handle so much change.
      4. The day of the event, the money for the meals purchased ($4.25 per meal) should be turned into the manager so they can enter the totals in the POS software and deposit the money that day.
    • Please remember that any change to the meal service model has to be discussed with SNP administration and reported to the state before a change can occur.  This includes changing the number of serving lines, moving meal service to mobile carts, etc.
    • Regularly used forms such as after-hours events, special diet request forms, and field trip request forms can be found under Staff Resources on the RCBOE website.
