My name is Audrey Williams I'm a seasoned professional and educator in the field of cosmetology with over 40 years of experience. A native of Augusta, Georgia, my journey began with an education in the Richmond County School System, where my passion for the cosmetology industry first took root as a high school cosmetology student.
Following my early exposure to the field, I pursued formal training at Augusta Technical College, earning a diploma in Cosmetology. Committed to advancing my expertise, I furthered my education at Dudley University, obtaining a Instructor’s License. These accomplishments marked the foundation of a distinguished career characterized by leadership and a dedication to professional growth.
For more than two decades, I have successfully owned and operated my own salon, providing exceptional service to clients while maintaining a steadfast commitment to excellence. Beyond entrepreneurial achievements, I have dedicated 25 years to teaching in the Richmond County School System, inspiring and mentoring countless students to achieve their goals in the cosmetology field.
My academic accomplishments extend beyond cosmetology. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Organizational Management from Voorhees University and a Master of Arts in Career and Technology Education from Ball State University. These qualifications reflect my dedication to both personal and professional development.
Currently, I channel my passion for education and mentorship into my role at the Marion Barnes Career Center, where I guide and nurture future professionals in cosmetology. My extensive experience, combined with her unwavering commitment to fostering talent, makes me a respected leader and role model in the industry.
