Using the Mobile App
On mobile devices, Canvas is designed to be used with the Canvas apps not the mobile browser.
NOTE: Canvas has apps for iOS and Android. The student app is different from the parent app.
In your app store, the Canvas Student App has a red Canvas icon:
Using a mobile device is not always the best option for some online work. Sometimes using a laptop is a better choice. See comparisons below.

Easier task with a larger keyboard. Better for typing papers.

Higher storage capacity. Better when needing to save a large work.

Less storage capacity. Most data has to be saved on a web server.

User Physical Location
|
Larger device means user has to sit in particular location to allow for space.

Can be used while traveling or walking around.
