Canvas Updates
Canvas provides frequent updates through monthly product releases and biweekly deploys. To stay up to date on the most recent releases, simply go to the Help Menu and scroll down to view release notes by user groups. Account Calendars
A new calendar for Richmond County School system is available in Canvas! To subscribe to the calendar, simply select Richmond County School System from the Other Calendars menu in Canvas. This calendar features school holidays, asynchronous learning days, and more!

Icon Maker
Have you tried out the new Icon Maker tool available in the Rich Content Editor? Icon Maker provides users with a quick and easy way to make custom buttons for their Canvas courses. Now, users can upload and crop custom images with Icon Maker too!

Schedule Page Publication
Now instructors can prepare and schedule pages in advance to automatically publish in their Canvas courses. Pages will remain invisible to students until the published date and time. Check out the new "Publish At" feature in the Options Menu when editing pages in your Canvas course.

Word Count
The updated status bar below the Rich Content Editor displays a Word Counter. To view a detailed word count, click the displayed word count in the status bar or select "Word Count" from the Tools Menu.

Support Center
Support Center is a new tool available in Canvas that provides help articles for right-in-time support triggered by context or user role. To access Support Center, simply click the blue question mark button found on the upper right corner of any page in Canvas. Then select from default options, suggested help topics, or use the keyword search tool to populate help articles to support you with your Canvas needs. After viewing a resource, users are invited to provide feedback.
