Utilizing Canvas Offline
Offline Access to Canvas Content
Did you know that it is possible to view Canvas course content offline? This may be helpful for students without home internet or when connectivity is expected to be a challenge.
Go to Settings and scroll down to More Details in your Canvas course to make sure the option to "Allow students to download course content and view offline" is enabled.
By enabling this setting, users in the course will have the option to Export Course Content from the Modules page. The content will be exported as a zip file. Once downloaded, the users will be able to view course content later, even without an internet connection.
It's worth noting that the downloaded content will not be dynamically updated, so this process must be done regularly to ensure you're viewing the most up-to-date Canvas content.
