Poss About Me

 

Hello! My name is Sara Poss and I am your child's Kindergarten teacher! 👩🏼‍🏫 I have worked for Richmond County for 6 years and have loved every second of my career here! I have taught PreK, 1st Grade, 5th Grade, and now Kindergarten! This will be my first time teaching TOTALLY virtually, but I am so excited for it!

I am born and raised in Augusta, GA. I have two beautiful children, Riley and Jaxon. Riley 👧🏼 is 7 and in First Grade at WRES. Jaxon 👦🏼 is 5 and in Kindergarten at WRES. They are my whole world! 🌎

My Favorite Things:

Color- Pink, Turquoise, and Leopard Print ;) 

Candy- Any kind of Reeses! Yum! 🍫

Drink- DIET COKE! 🥤

Food- Sub sandwiches, Mexican, spaghetti, potato chips

Things- Bath and Body Works candles 🕯and soaps; shopping at TARGET 🎯, and on Amazon; colorful pens; puppies; kittens; the mountains 🏔; the beach; reading books 📚; painting; singing 🎶🎤; watching Netflix; and of course, TEACHING!

In our classroom we are a FAMILY, whether we are virtual or face to face! Everyone is welcome no matter what. We love 💜 each other, support each other, and congratulate each other. We make sure that we all know mistakes are okay! Mistakes just mean you are trying and learning new things. ✅ There are no shortcuts to success! I am tough, but I am fair.  I love my students as much as my own children! We will have a wonderful year if we all work together and follow the rules! Who is ready to learn ALL THE THINGS?! 🎉
