Hello Parents! I know it sounds hard to TRULY believe, but I am SO excited for our online learning experience this school year! Hopefully, I have had the opportunity to meet all of you *Face-to-Face*, but if I have not (and you would like to meet me in person), or if you missed your chance, PLEASE PLEASE let me know. I would absolutely LOVE to meet you and answer any questions you might have!
This is a CRAZY crazy time for all of us, and nobody would have ever chosen things to be this way! BUT... we are going to make the very best if it, and we are going to ROCK this virtual Kindergarten year! To do that, I need YOUR help, just as you need mine! I am happy to provide/do anything extra you may need, but I need your active participation as well to make this successful for your beautiful Kindergarten baby!

⚠️ Parents, please make sure you are aware that LIVE sessions are only on Mondays-Thursdays. We will not meet LIVE on Fridays, but students are expected to view any posted instructional videos posted during the week, and work on their daily and weekly independent assignments every day, Monday-Friday ⚠️
👩💻 Helping Your Child Succeed in Canvas
1️⃣ Students are required to log in to Canvas DAILY. On Mondays-Thursdays, students are required to click in and access the daily LIVE links to our Microsoft TEAMS meeting. You will either access the AM meeting every M-Th from 9:00-11:00 OR the PM meeting from 1:00-3:00, depending on which session you registered for. To access these links, please click the button below, or click the same button on our Homepage!
2️⃣ Students are also REQUIRED to access our Weekly Assignments (Modules) and independently OR (with the teacher) complete any activities, resources, or assignments I have uploaded. The instructions and submission details will be included with each assignment. This link is also below! :)

🚫 What if My Child Misses a LIVE Session?
⏺ If your child is "absent" and unable to attend our LIVE Microsoft TEAMS session for the day, it is okay. He or she will be marked absent, but the recording from the LIVE session will be available to watch by that evening. This way, you will not miss anything that may have been discussed or taught. Click the button below to access recorded meetings. He or she will still be responsible for completing the assignments for the day/week, and if you have any questions about the missed session, feel free to message me or email me!

📆 To Schedule a Conference or Tutoring Session
💬 If you would like to schedule a conference with me, Ms. Poss, please send me an email to posssa@boe.richmond.k12.ga.us or message me on our ClassDojo account. I can meet with you virtually through Microsoft Teams, we can schedule a private Zoom meeting, or, if you feel comfortable, meet in person in the classroom. We will both have on a face mask, and maintain social distance standards! My conferencing blocks are Mondays-Thursdays from 11:00-11:50, or Fridays from 1:00-3:00.
👩🏼🏫 If you feel your child is substantially behind, and you would like to schedule a tutoring session for your him or her, please send me an email to posssa@boe.richmond.k12.ga.us or message me on our ClassDojo account letting me know your thoughts/feelings. Just as for conferences, I can meet with your child virtually through Microsoft Teams, or if you feel comfortable, meet in person in the classroom.
