Adjective Agreement Chapter 16

In today's class, students will review the rules of adjective agreement and learn the ordinal numbers primus- decimus. Students will read and discuss the first paragraph of the story "Why is Sextus a Pest?" on page 119. We will discuss and practice with the idea of case, number and gender in agreement of adjectives. 

Opening - Students will take the numbers quiz on Canvas. Then students will answer opening questions.

Lesson - Students will learn the ordinal numbers first through tenth.  Chapter 16 Translation and Ordinal Numbers.docx   We will then translate lines 1-3 of our story "Why is Sextus a Pest/" on page 119. Students will practice changing the case, number and gender of the adjective strenuus. (See below)

Closing - Students will close with a review of Chapter 16 Vocabulary words.
