The Perfect Tense of the Verb
In today's class we will return to our study of the perfect tense of the verb. Students will review the formation and translation of the perfect tense and practice with it in workbook and translation activities. The learning target is for students to recognize and translate the perfect tense of the Latin verb.
Opening: Students will review the formation and translation of the perfect tenses using whiteboards.
Lesson: Students will read and translate the story, "Settling In" page 149 of the Ecce Romani textbook. The class as a whole will practice reading the Latin passage as we answer questions. Students will have time for independent practice. Closing: Students will review Vocabulary Chapter 19.
