Chapter 22 The Dative Case
Students will learn the last of the 6 noun cases in Latin. Students will review the 5 cases they have learned and take notes on a presentation on the dative case. We will work in the textbook on translating the dative. The learning target is for students to recognize and translate dative case nouns in context.
Opening: Students will take the Chapter 21 Vocab quiz and review the 5 cases Nominative, Genitive, Accusative, Ablative and Vocative.
Lesson: Students will take notes on a presentation on the Dative Case. The Dative Case.pptx Students will translate a passage as a whole group and learn to identify the dative in context.
Closing: Students will review dative endings by writing out the endings for the three declensions.
